'THE ZOO RIDE' is a great choice for a typical Baltimore City winter day. The route is sheltered from the wind, and the temperatures are slightly warmer than Baltimore County. Also, the ride  includes some of northern Baltimore City's most beautiful neighborhoods and interesting sites/landmarks. Options for a snack/lunch stop occur after mile 18. There are several steep climbs on this route. Check the ride schedule/forum in the morning for last minute updates  due to weather changes. Park at rear of church.
