Come on out to western Howard County for enjoyable scenic rides with a chance to socialize with club members after the ride. Bring your favorite food and drinks for yourself and to share.

We are reviving the cluster all paces start for a weekend ride as we did when we had the enjoyable winter Peppercorn Rides. Unlike the Peppercorn rides where we all met at the restaurant for lunch, we will meet and eat at the end of the day's rides.

We will use the staggered time starts as we do with the Picnic and Corn Roast rides.

Start Times:

16+ mph: 8:30 AM

13-15 mph: 9:00 AM

10-12 mph: 10:00 AM

I am estimating the riding should done by 1 pm. All of the routes allow for several shortcuts if you need one to make it in by 1 pm.

Distances: 16 mph+: 61 miles; 13-15 mph: 50 miles; 10-12 mph: 25 miles

The 16+ and 13-15 mph rides go to Damascus for a break halfway through each route; the 10-12 mph ride has a break in Lisbon.

Location: Western Regional Park in Glenwood, Md off Carrs Mill road adjacent to the Glenwood CC. (Be sure to park at the Western Regional Park parking lot and not the Glenwood CC; there will be a basketball tournament at the GWCC and parking will not be available)

Directions: I-70 to Rt 97 South, drive ~2 miles to Carrs Mill Rd and turn R at TL; park entrance is 0.4 miles on R
