The ride start is at the I70 Park & Ride on Route#66N, about fifty minutes from the Baltimore Beltway. This is a variation of the Gold Fish Pond ride from the BBCWashingtonCounty weekend. One of our favorite rides with low-traffic, mostly rolling terrain (with some hills - 2300' gain), country setting, and breath-taking views from Edgemont and CrystalFalls roads. We feel it is worth the drive. A rest stop is planned at mile 20 at the Misty Mountain Creamery and/or the SmithsburgLionsPark all at mile 23. Cue sheets will be available for a 39 and 33 mile option - the first 20 miles are the same for both. No restroom at the ride start, however, there is a Rest Area on I70 a few miles before the exit to the ride start. Recommend two water bottles.
