This is the samo samo ride to Snickerdoodles in Hampstead that I've offered a hundred times.  We'll ride approx. 23 miles to the bakery for a pastry/coffee/bathroom break.  After the break, the 17 miles back to Oregon Ridge is mostly easy so the group tends to fly.  If access to Oregon Ridge Lodge is blocked by a special event, we will meet at the Oregon Ridge Nature Center.  The access road to the nature center is directly behind the Oregon Grille Restaurant at Beaver Dam and Shawan Rds.  Rain will cancel the ride.

I am offering this easy, short ride for selfish reasons.  I want to ride with a good group but also want to see the Ravens' first game on TV at 1:00 PM.  Also, I'm hoping to do a 70-mile BBC ride on Tuesday so I don't want to do a long, hilly ride on Sunday.  The 3rd reason is I'm afraid my cholesterol is dangerously low so I may have to get a cheese Danish at Snickerdoodles if the faster riders don't clean out the display case!
