Beautiful vistas in Havre de Grace and Susquehanna State Park. Terrain is rolling with some uphill groaners, but no mountains. For those interested in bypassing Susquehanna State Park, there is a shortcut to avoid the awesome descent and long gentle climb out of the river valley. RWGPS shows ~1900 ft of climbing over the complete route.
Port-a-potties available in the adjacent county park near the starting location (Churchville Rec Center @ 111 Glenville Rd, Churchville, MD 21028)
Join us for lunch or just ice cream, or other comfort food, afterwards at Brooms Bloom dairy, a short drive from the ride start! (Some riders may opt for a civilized lunch in Havre de Grace, but the ride leader will only be snacking to save room for ice cream.)
