27 miles to the west from Taneytown. Mainly rolling with some hills after crossing the Monocacy twice. Approx. elevation gain of 1015'. Bring a snack for when we regroup at the Wooden Jesus. Optional lunch at Country Kitchen or your choice when we return to Taneytown.
DIRECTIONS: From I-695 take Exit 19, I-795 North to Exit 9B and follow Rt. 140 through Westminster to Taneytown. Take first exit from trafic circle to remain on Rt. 140. Cross Rt. 194 and go 0.4 miles to Taneytown Memorial Park on left. Take first entrance and then turn right into parking lot.
