Bontrager R2 700x23c Tires

I went to 25's too.  I can run a little less pressure, which smooths the ride out, and so instead of losing speed bouncing over bumps, I think they allow me to glide over them.  Rolling resistance is really minimal, especially for a weekend rider like me, and I have a little more rubber on the road for better traction and stability.

Today's Pancake Breakfast at the Long Green Valley Church of the Brethren was a big success. Yours truly was joined by John H., George C., Evie R., Mike R., Kasice P., Nick T. & Ron C.  We rode under partly overcast skies and some humidity.  We arrived at the breakfast at about 9:30 - and were treated to pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, biscuits and gravy, and coffee, tea, water, & juices.  It was delicious. Our hosts appreciated us being there and I felt like we were being good ambassadors for our sport!   After we got back on the road, we noticed that the humidity was less and there was a nice cool breeze - perfect riding weather.  Upon getting back to the ride start, we loaded our bikes and equipment in our cars and as we were about to take off, it started raining - what perfect timing!
A big thank you to all who came out today!

There is a 30% chance of scattered showers.  I am going to take a chance and make the ride a "GO"!  We may  get wet, but then again, we may not!

Another "epic" Pa. Flatland's ride is now BBC history!  There were 17 of us - including myself and co-leader George Cordutsky on today's fabulous ride.  The sun was out, yes - there were some winds, but nothing drastic I would say.  I want to thank the following people for joining me on today's ride/adventure: Don, Mark M., George, Mary Anne, Ed, John, Gary, Carol, Dan, Elizabeth, Jay, June, Deynivette (?), Mark T., Alvaro, Darrow & yours truly...Bill Wiesand.  No flats or mechanical failures that I'm aware of.  All roads on the cue sheet from 2005 are now passable, so there is no detouring involved as has been for the past few years.  Moby's at mile 26, which had been the primary lunch stop is unfortunately closed, so we opted for the Rutter's (across the street from Moby's) on the Susquehanna Trail.  It offers basics, but not much in the way of indoor seating.  I am going to research and see what other options are available that may offer a little more in the way of civilized dining.  Look for this ride to be offered again next month.

Is there a cue sheet for this ride in the library?

Thanks.

Looking for some suggestions for dealing with neck pain.

Joan - definitely what Stuart says.  If it was me, I'd start with a professional's perspective on your fit...another shop is Twenty20 on "The Avenue" in Hampden Hon.  Johnny and Kris are both fit specialists.  Johnny is also a certified massage therapist, so anatomy is his game.  I believe they can do a "quick" (less expensive) fit or a thorough fit (I recommend that).  If you go there, tell them Bill Wiesand sent you.
