A Rich Burns creation from nearly 20 years ago that remains great to this day. The weather forecast, if correct, appears to be favorable for this low traffic, bucolic and challenging route (2469 ft of elevation). Rest stop will be Jiffy Mart w/ Subway & Dairy Queen, mile 18. A porta-potty has usually been available on the other side of the school building. However, you could stop @Royal Farms store after getting off I-83 onto Mt. Carmel Rd. Just turn right and you will see the Royal Farms store on your left. Then reverse and con't west on Mt Carmel for approx 5 miles to the school.
