Terry will likely be there early 0830. Look for a large silver van parked near the top of the climb out of the dam. That's where I am targeting anyway.
Phil reconned part of the route today and parking seems fine so far. Also based on the comments and looking a little more closely at the route, he upped the distance 20 26 miles which follows the 'outer' loop of the race.
Come for the ride, stay for the race! We hope to park near the dam, just where the climb begins.
Ride itself is a 26 mile loop that starts near the dam, assuming we can park there. Feel free to repeat! You should have time to do two loops if you plan to stay for the race. Expected time the race goes through is 3 PM (see "website"). Bring a chair if you plan to stay a while afterwards.
As of Saturday, Phil was able to stream TV coverage of the race. If anyone has a really good antenna in their phone and a hotspot plan, Phil will have his laptop which connects to the TV in his RV.
If you bring food Terry will be able to cook it. There will be some water should anyone need it. Note the RidewithGPS TCX details possible places to park if that becomes an issue.
