This is the classic ride to Hampstead and the Snickerdoodles bakery on Route 30. We'll do 23 miles to the rest stop then a fast 17 back to Oregon Ridge. This is one of Downtown Denise's favorite rides because she can get a Coke Classic and a big cookie then use the sugar to finish the ride.
I was told that the Oregon Ridge Lodge parking lot was available. If there's a problem, Plan B is to start from the Oregon Ridge Nature Center. The access road is behind the Oregon Grille. If someone would like to ride approximately 33 miles, our group can meet you at Veloccino. You need to let me know to bring you a cue sheet.
