Instructional Ride Series: Weeks 5 and 6
|On Sunday, June 8 the Instructional Ride Series rode out of Jacksonville to confront their final challenge. A hilly 33 mile loop through Baltimore and Harford counties for some and a shorter, more relaxed (but with hills) route for the rest. Read ride report for more details and photos. Thanks to all who attended, and we hope to see you on club rides.|
Instructional Ride Series: Week 4
On Sunday, May 18, forty three hardy souls ventured forth from Greenspring Station to face the challenges of riding in traffic, climbing hills, and changing gears. Pictured are riders successfully climbing a beautiful Baltimore County Road, and more photos are in this report. For the upcoming Session Six, riders will meet in Jacksonville and experience the joy of riding in scenic country with low traffic.
Instructional Ride Series: First Session
The BBC's 30th annual instructional ride series has gotten off to a great start. The first ride on May 4th was well-attended with nearly 40 riders. Gordon Peltz, Howard Kaplan, and Gary Brandon led out three different groups depending on skill levels and stamina. The quartet group pictured on the left completed 30 miles. Two of the riders are training for the Seagull Century, and another wanted to see how far she could go. The next session will be on Sunday, May 11 at Marley Station Mall. See flyer for more information.
