50th Anniversary Celebration Re-Cap and Thanks!

Our 50th Anniversary Ride and Celebration held on June 2nd was a big success and attended by many!

BBC Booth at Towsontown Spring Festival

Many thanks to our team of BBC members who volunteered to spend part of their weekend at the BBC booth at the Towsontown Spring Festival on May 5 and 6.  Their objective was to publicize our club's  activities to the 200,000 visitors at this annual event.  We hope to have new members who will join our club as a result of the efforts of: Jayme Abrams, Nikki Austin, Bob Carson, John Eckard, Marge Ewertz, Steve Feldman, Gary Flax, Esther Frey, Eric Frey, Jeff Huesman, Amy Hurtoom, Howie Kline, Kim Kodenski, Jim Mayhew, Mary Ellen Mclewee, Rick Todd, Bill Wiesand, and Gene Young.

BBC Small Grants Program will begin accepting applications beginning Jan. 1, 2018.

Effective April 24, 2018, there is a new ‘Port-o-Pot’ taking up residence at the Western Run Park-and-Ride on Shawan Rd. courtesy of the BBC and two gracious gentlemen at the MD State Highway Department who kindly striped an area for its own dedicated parking spot.

This new development will be a comfort to local cyclists and will no doubt provide much needed ‘relief’, both to the pine grove across the street and to the puzzled stare of the golfers on the on the Par 4 15th fairway.
