BBC's 40th ANNUAL INSTRUCTIONAL CYCLING SERIES
The BALTIMORE BICYCLING CLUB'S popular Instructional Cycling Series will be returning for its 40th year on May 5, 2024 with an updated format!
Focus will be on practical instruction to learn and/or improve group riding including road safety, basic bike maintenance, route navigation using Ride with GPS, and other techniques for safe and efficient cycling. Club members who would like to volunteer their cycling expertise as a part of the series should contact ride.leader.adriana@gmail.com —no long term commitment required!
The 2024 ICS Orientation will take place on May 5 and 11, 2024, at the Marley Station Mall/B&A Trail. The first session on May 5 will provide practical instruction on safety, riding techniques, and equipment, followed by a short trail ride. The second session on May 11 will focus on maintenance and route navigation, followed by a short trail ride. Sessions will begin at 9:30am.
It is not necessary to be a member of the Baltimore Bicycling Club to participate in this series to learn the basic skills of cycling. Please share this information with others who might be interested in learning to bike, about bike safety, or to update their skills.
