Less than two weeks to the Stop Swap & Save

Less than two weeks to the Stop Swap & Save

The Westminster Ag Center has one of the best annual bicycle swap meets on the East coast.  Its also a great place to see all your biking friends on what's usually a bitterly cold weekend, sometimes with too much snow.  Check out their website for time, location and cost  It's a good place to find parts to keep your old soldiers rolling, clothing, and used bikes.  Prices are often negotiable, but I go to see friends, some coming from several states away.  You can find things there that can't be found in most bike shops, (old Shimano Shifter/Brifters?), parts for vintage steel bikes, ... vintage steel bikes?, mountain, road, hybrids, carbon fiber this & that, parts, clothes etc.  Hope I'm not bending the rules too much Janet.  I admit to almost always finding something to buy, but to me this is almost as nice a social event as it gets!
Happy trails,

Dan Artley in Parkton

"The mechanic with a little mileage on the treads sees dirt as a benign presence, a good thing.  He or she knows that if something breaks, a clean part will replace the broken one, and will eventually get dirty like everything else.  The dirt is rarely responsible for any breakage or failure.  It's all very Zen." - Mike Ferrentino
