Don't leave your cycling shoes in a hot car!

I noticed my (relatively) new Louis Garneau Course 2LS shoes (with 2 boas)were really tight about 3/4 of the way through the Tour of Frederick metric a weeks ago. When I got home, I put on a different pair of the same basic shoe and whoa...the original pair had shrunk about a half size!  The only thing I could think would have caused this is leaving them in the back of my car over several very HOT days. Jgo reminded me earlier today, different shoes and different material will react differently to a hot car over several days...but why take a chance? These were comfortable slightly expensive shoes that now are unwearable.  Don't leave your cell phone, CDs or cycling shoes in a closed car in hot weather.   I'll post the shoes in our sales forum...they're fine for someone who wears normally a 45.5 or 46 sized cycling shoe.
