I think your first option for a detour would be best. I believe that Flohrs Church Rd turns to gravel before it merges with Tillie Town. Perhaps you can do a little exploring when you are out there on Tuesday.

There is a mileage mistake in the Two Taverns V.2 ride in the Cue Library. At mile "16.2 Right on US 30," the leg mileage on Rt. 30 should be 0.5 instead of 1.5. Hopefully someone will correct this before the ride is lead this Saturday.

I also posted that the bridge on Fairview Rd is scheduled to be closed on June 16. Please see the latest post for "Road Problems."

The bridge on Fairview Fruit Rd is scheduled to be closed for repairs beginning June 16, 2015. This is about half way between Hilltown Rd and US 30. This will affect the longer picnic ride and also, possibly, for Steve Zeldin's ride for next week on the 16th. It should be fine for the Two Taverns ride this Saturday.

See ride schedule for details. We checked this route on Saturday and rode on dry roads with just a few damp spots. Should be completely dry for Sunday. There was no snow in southern Ann Arundel County. Come join us.

There is a new, much larger and improved Sheets store in Taneytown, but it has moved to the traffic circle next to the High's as you enter town. (Rt. 140 and Antrim Blvd. at Rt. 832) The old location has closed. This will affect many rides and cue sheets that use the Sheets store for a rest stop. There is an Exxon store and Subway across the street from the original location, but not sure it's not designed to handle large groups of cyclists.

Perryville Park & Ride is listed in the Ride Start Directions as 'PVP'  (NOT 'PPR')
