Excellent. I d/l'd all the cue sheets, mapped them on Ride With GPS, and have the .tcx files loaded in my Garmin. I just wasn't sure about the ride leaders/timing, etc., since you said you'd be leaving early. Now it's clear. Thanks.

Okay, thanks Larry. (It's the first year I've been on your New Year's Day ride.)

Larry,

Pardon my ignorance, but are there still going to be ride leaders for the longer rides?

Since the weather looks like it's going to be good on Sunday I added an all pace long ride (the 48 mile Picnic Ride) for Sunday, December 14th. All riders are welcome.

Unfortunately since the projected temperature at the designated ride start time is only 33 degrees, and it won't reach 40 degrees until 12:00, this morning's ride is officially cancelled. I will, however, still show up at the ride start at 10:00 with cue sheets for anyone who would still like to do the ride on his/her own.

I was watching the Accu-Weather radar map for the Frederick area throughout the day and it was like there was a barrier protecting it from the rain that soaked a lot of the surrounding areas. I was hoping it would stay that way until the ride was over. The wind, however, was a horse of another color.

10-12 mph 21 mile training ride with some hills, some rollers, and some flats

There's a lot going on this upcoming Saturday, Sept 27 -- the Weekend in Lancaster, the Seagull Century, and the trip some BBC members are making to France. But for anyone looking for a short, fun training ride that can be ridden anywhere from 12 mph on up, I'll be leading a 21 mile ride from Randallstown Sr High that starts at 10:00 am. There's a Wawa at the 12 mile mark, and the final 9 miles are almost all down hill or rolling/flat.

NOTE: The "Get Directions" map is inaccurate. It doesn't list the correct address for the school. The correct address is: 4000 Offut Rd, Randallstown, MD 21133. I tried to change it but can't figure out how.
