Finally, the Baltimore Sun has an update: … accid.html

"Police have received numerous inquiries from citizens and city officials about a report in which a police spokesman said charges were not likely to be filed, which the department's chief spokesman now says was premature. "  Looks like all those phone calls and emails have made a difference.  And please tell your friends & try to be at 39th St. & University next Wednesday 3/9 at 5:30pm.

The Baltimore Sun hasn't  had any updates on this, but the family of Nathan Krasnopoler, the young man who was hit, has created a Facebook page with updates on his condition:!/pages/Nathan … 1227673255

Free Yakima roof rack parts
Category: Technical

Free to good home: Yakima roof rack components listed below.  These actually come from two different roof racks, 10-15 years old, but all parts are listed are in good condition, no rust.
(4) locking towers (keys included), currently mounted to the factory roof rack of a 1995 Subaru wagon, which is going to the junkyard soon.
(2) 48" tubular crossbars
(2) trays with straps for bike's rear wheels; each tray is just 8" long.  I recommend buying new rubber straps because of their age, $26 per pair at REI,
(1) skewer mount for front fork
(2) wheel forks (see )
(2) ski mounts
Call Mary at 443-676-0891 if you are interested in some or all of these parts.

Change in Sequence

Stephanie,  I've made the same request numerous times ever since the new website and calendar went live.  Ed Cahill has created a poll in the "Website Suggestions" Forum.  Go over there and vote that you want the calendar to run Sunday to Saturday, not Monday to Sunday.

Per the Baltimore Sun:
A section of Falls Road in Butler will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, through 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, according to the State Highway Administration. The road will be closed to allow for pipe repairs under the roadway. Falls Road will be closed to through traffic between Butler Road and Black Rock Road. It will be closed to local traffic between south of Stringtown Road and north of Butler Volunteer Fire Department. … d-nov-5-8/

Please update the directions to ride start GLN, Glenelg High School
Category: Social

More than a year ago, the road construction at Rt. 32 and Burntwoods Rd. in Howard County was completed. The traffic light is gone, replaced by three (3!) traffic circles.  The directions to GLN, Glenelg High School, are incorrect in the Newsletter, the Ride Start Directions web page, and the Group Rides page. They all say "turn right at the traffic light onto Burnt Woods".  The directions should be replaced with this, courtesy of Google Maps:
From the Baltimore Beltway, take exit 16, I-70 West. Go 12 miles, get off at Exit 80, onto Route 32 south. Go 3.4 miles, bear right onto the exit for Burtwoods Rd & Ten Oaks Rd. At the 1st traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto Ten Oaks Rd. At the 2nd circle, take the first exit onto Burntwoods Rd. Go 0.9 miles; turn left into school parking lot.

Isn't that easy?  Now try getting back on 32 North or 32 South from there.

Yes, you can show up and ride without registering.  The payment is for the food and pavilion rental.
