This is a counter-clockwise loop from Meadowood Park.

Geist Knox -- Who Answers?  Only way to find out is to hop on your bike and ride it!

ATTENTION NEWBIES: There are some serious climbs on this ride. No mechanical support is provided.

Baltimore County ride with 2300 feet elevation gain over 32 miles.  Start Hillside and return Mays Chapel. Break option at mile 24, Chestnut Ridge Market -- but, hey, we are almost back by then.

I'd like to ascertain whether my road bikes will accommodate 28-mm tires. Does anyone have a 28mm tire I could borrow to mount on my wheels temporarily? Please reply offline to  Thanks!

Price is reduced to $250 OBO.

This means more if you live in a big city like New York or D.C., but still.... … -sub-55768

CORRECTION: crankset was replaced late 2008 and is now 30-39-50.

My trusty 2001 Litespeed Tuscany is looking for a loving home.

All-titanium frame (52 cm), 9-speed Ultegra 30-42-52 triple with 12-27 cassette; it's been well-maintained and well loved, but short, ageing rider isn't willing to put up with a too-long top tube anymore. Includes Speedplay X-series pedals and Cateye cyclocomputer if you're nice to me. $500 OBO. Please contact me by private email to or by private message on this website.

SNOW?? Really?

I was busy all day yesterday and never made it onto the bike in the lovely, mild weather, and now I have to cancel my freakin' ride!

Anyway, even if there's only a slight accumulation, that's enough to create dangerous icy spots. Let's try again next weekend.
