Nigel, Kathleen, probably George, and I plan on doing this as well.

Can someone check to see if he was a registered rider?  There's a lot in that post I find hard (if not impossible) to believe.

We rode Columbia Gateway today.  It was really wet from the light at Columbia Gateway/Columbia Gateway up the hill until Samuel Morse Dr.  The rest of the loop was fine.

Mary, it was still closed on August 16th.

That should make things interesting.

There's no advance registration, you pay Ken at the start ($5 for members).  Some snacks and a port-a-pot are provided at the start.  The rest of the ride is unsupported.

I might be up for that.  I'm not in the mood to try and set any speed records.

Plus one - a late start because I was returning from a weekend camping trip so I 'backtracked' the route and met a large part of the group at Lake Artemesia.  Still a 70-mile day for me.

If it did happen to be closed Sunday morning, you could take Nursery to Andover Rd and then onto the BWI trail. Traffic shouldn't be a problem that time on a Sunday. It would probably add a mile.  I will likely be joining you guys.  A bunch I normally ride with are doing Bay to Bay on Sunday but I'm not sure I want to drive over to the Eastern Shore again after having just done the Flatlands Tour.

On my way home from work today there was still traffic moving across that bridge.  There was a bunch of wood framework under the bridge on the northbound side but not the southbound side so they may not be to the point yet of closing it.
