This beautifully built Canadian Milan SL Mark II has every upgrade offered by Steve when he built it for me in 2016. I've ordered a Mark 7 so need to sell this great machine. The Milan holds world records in 6,12, and 24-hour

distances.

With careful dialing in and lots of help from so many on BROL forum, I achieved two huge stretch goals I frankly thought impossible:

The first was to fulfill my childhood dream of competing at Battle Mountian to see if I could go faster than my age (58). After a week of racing including a steep learning curve and with help and crewing from my wife and veteran racer Peter Bornstadt I hit 58.2mph! I even touched 60 several times (not wind-legal).
Here is an 8-second video of the time trap. Turn up the volume! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIHZNtb7YGc

And from the driver's perspective

Using a 100 tooth chainring you can hear each shift as I go from 20 to 30 to 40 to 50 and then nearly 60mph - An incredible rush! .

My second goal was to complete a Century in under 3 hours. After a dozen attempts and returning from the training from Battle Mountian I managed several sub-4 centuries… One day the stars all lined up, and I completed a sub-3 hour Century (2:56) along the 25-mile loop open road Chruch Creek Time Trial course on the Eastern Shore of Maryland despite a police stop for speeding!

This amazing machine has bladed spokes, 90 mm drums, twin B&M headlights, full Carbon/Kevlar body, and a carbon Battle Mountian hood with a NACA duct very close to size and shape of the one I borrowed from Dave Lewis to race at Battle Mountian.I used it for my sub-4 hour century runs.
I am a 160-175 watt 165-pound rider, 5 foot 11 inches with a 32 inch inseam and size 9 shoes and I fit perfectly.
