Club account use
Category: Social

It is nice to see more ride leaders providing a link to a route map in the ride notice.  In some recent ride notices, the map link was to a personal RwGPS account rather than that of the club.  Personal accounts do not provide the features that come with the club account, most important being the ability to print 4-paneled cue sheets and route editing for the ride creator. While we could use improved RwGPS instructions (I have prepared, but were not accepted) the current instructions should show how to sign into the club account and get the required authority to create routes.

Mary,  I copied the route into our club account and "refetched" the elevation data.  I would go with this version.  John McCauley

Sorry for short notice, but if you want to try something different and have a mountain bike or wide tire hybrid check out my ride for tomorrow, July 2.  Lots of fun!

Ride today is cancelled due to high risk of rain and storms.  Will reschedule soon.  JOhn

I think, Renee, that you have that cue sheet that you wanted.  I sent it to you, and willingly offered to work with you by telephone to explain how this Ride with GPS works. I really do not know why you did not accept my help.  The offer still stands for you or anyone else who may have questions.  John McCauley

Why is my Sunday ride and others lined thru as if cancelled?  My ride is going as planned.

I'm putting this bike out here for a friend. He took good care of it.
