I'm unfamiliar w/this route. I started to do it earlier this year for the 1st time, but bailed mid-ride b/c I wasn't feeling well :(
The Sheetz in Thurmont had a sign stating they would be closed from Nov.10 until May when we were there recently. I'm thinking about having lunch @ Kountry Kitchen - https://thurmontkountrykitchen.com/
Other options include Uncle Dirty's Brewery, Burger King or Dollar General :)
