A very cold ride (expect anything else for Friday the 13th).  This could be my favorite short ride.  Temperatures in the 30's for the entire ride.  But, and a huge BUT,  the winds are predicted as light and variable.  If the wind speed prediction increases, I might cancel the ride?  We start with a 4 mile very gentle climb so we should warm up quicky.  Lots of hills on this ride.  The first half is much harder than the second half (but not too crazy hilly).  And, the last 3-4 miles is all downgrade.

All paces are welcome-most will probably ride a 10-13 pace.

100% paved roads.  Will bring "Formatted" cue sheets.  The ride start is just North of Glen Rock on Rt. 616 (37 minutes from Timonium, MD).

Address-Heritage Rail Trail, "Centerville Parking Lot", Glenrock, PA 17327.

We start on the rail trail parking lot on the north side of Glen Rock, just off of Rt 616.  From I-83 take Rt 216 W and go straight onto Rt 616.

Any cancellations will be posted by 8:30am.

Steve This ride is an altered copy of GlenFly which starts in Glenrock. However when starting from Centerville Parking the result shows an extra two miles into and then out of Glenrock at the end. Is this really what you intend?

Steve Yet rwgps has you riding into Glenrock at mile 27 and then out again to the Centerville Parking. Means at least a small climb into Glenrock. If you did a "Change Start Location" then be advised that rwgps does not do this well.

Steve Sure the "Cue Sheet" is correct in that the turn into Glenrock for one mile and then the one mile exit is not on the Cuesheet, but anyone using the gps course file will be directed into Glenrock. Why not just remove that extraneous Glenrock jog (very easy to do)?

Steve End point changed and Calendar updated.

Steve Removing excess control points is the key to redoing a bad course jog.
