This is a relatively mild ride over mostly low traffic roads with great views of the mountains and valleys.  We will cross through two covered bridges, pass through the Mount St. Mary’s campus, pass by the National Shrine Grotto of the Lady of the Lourdes, climb 1600’; including a challenging hill on Kelbaugh (15%) at mile 20.  A printed cue sheet with a milder version (36mi) that skips the hill will be available (RWGPS#33995013).  Rest stop at Sheetz at mile 18, and at Loy’s Station Covered Bridge at mile 26.  Both versions are the same until the first rest stop.  Printed versions of both rides will be available at ride start.

Covid protocols in effect.  Bring own pen and mask.  Masks to be worn when around other bicyclists or the public, before & after the ride, and at the rest stops.

Portojohn and water at start, bathrooms at Sheetz, and toilets, but no water at Loy’s Station.
