From Beltway take NW Exp (795) to end. Continue straight at Hanover Pike onto Butler Rd. After crossing bridge over RR tracks, just before fire station, turn left onto Santoni's Market, 4854 Butler Rd, Glyndon 21071. Use portion of lot closest to Butler Rd, away from store.
Taking advantage of light Sunday traffic, we will use a combination of shouldered Hanover Pike, and old Hanover Pike, to reach Hampstead. We will regroup in Hampstead at BB & T Bank lot on right, just before Route 88. We continue riding on RT 88, which becomes Blackrock Rd, to east end at Falls Rd (RT 25). We turn right on Falls and stop at Veloccino's on left, just past fire station. After enjoying a 15 - 20 minute break, we head west on Butler Rd. Just past St John's Church, we turn right onto Piney Grove Rd, which we take to end at Old Hanover Rd. Turning left, we take Old Hanover to end at main Hanover Pike, where we turn left. At traffic light on top of hill, we turn left onto Butler Rd and continue back to Santoni's on left.
Option to bring lunch or purchase food at Santoni's or Subway after ride We will enjoy outdoor lunch at little used park across Butler Rd, just past post office.
